Fredonia Competition 1/26/14

Our first competition is this weekend,January 26, 2014 at SUNY Fredonia. The JV division is scheduled to beginat 2:30pm. The competition will take place inside Steele Hall Field House on FSU campus. Directions to Steele Hall can be found here. Admission is $7.00/adult, $3.00/child or student. Parking is free.

This competition is notorious for running late but I will be sure to keep you informed as the day goes on of any changes. 

Cheerleaders MUST ride the bus to competition with the team. We will meet at the Freeman side of the high school at 12:00pm. The girls should arrive wearing full uniform: bodysuit, shell, spankies, warm up jacket, black warm up pants, competition bow, and full hair and makeup. Skirts and cleaned competition shoes should be kept in their bags; they may wear Uggs or other boots until we arrive in Fredonia. We will provide the team with socks for this weekend. 

JV will warm up at 1:55 and performat  3:44

Varsity will warm up at 3:30 and perform at 5:00

Girls may ride home with THEIR parents or guardian only and must give me a note when the get on the bus on the morning. No notes can be excepted at Fredonia because I need to give the bus driver a head count before we leave the high school. I anticipate arriving back to Orchard Park around 7:00. 

Each girl was sent home with a packet of medical release for all of our competitions. The packet is due to me on FRIDAY!  Thank you if you have already sent yours in! 

Dress Rehearsal on Saturday, 1/25/14

There is a chance that we will be practicing at Buffalo Envy's facility on Saturday morning, 9-12. We have used this gym in the past to prepare for competition because Orchard Park does not own a nine panel cheer floor (we only have seven panels) In order to best prepare the girls for a regulation size floor we are trying to set this up. I told the girls I will let them know ASAP, no later than tomorrow. Buffalo Envy is located on Route 5 towards Lackawanna (directions).  If we do not go to Envy we will practice at the high school.
